Scotty is a F@#$ing maniac. 40 stair rails, giant drops from over passes, you name he'll probably do it. He pretty much broke his face a few years ago when he kneed himself in the eye. It was one of the gnarliest injuries seen in snowboarding.

His live for today style has paid off, and cost him a lot, all at the same time. He drove to Alaska with some friends when he was younger to snowboard and it made him a career. When asked why, he simply said, "We realized we had no jobs, and we were going nowhere."

Scotty recently decide to retire from pro snowboarding at the age of twenty three. He's over the whole industry. He's been sued by companies. Been offered a lot of money by companies. And now, has said, F#$@ you to the companies. He still has a snowboard put out by Lib Tech that he helps design, called the DIY, if you don't know what that stands for brush up on your punk rock values (Do It Yourself). The board comes blank and your encouraged to put your own art on it, and the best thing is all proceeds from it go to charity.
