The Chamberlain brothers: Simon, his twin brother, Andre and their older brother Mat grew up in Lindsay, Ontario. Together the brothers spent their days skateboarding and snowboarding local spots like the Ranch. When the family moved to a house with a sloping backyard Simon's dad set up a bunch of rails and even an outdoor light so that the boys could shred at night. It was probably in that backyard that Simon developed his ability to make some of the burliest tricks look easy.

As a rookie Simon won some high caliber contests, such as the Nixon Jibfest and the Hard Rock Rail Jam in Vegas. From there Simon got picked up by Sean Johnson of Stepchild Snowboards and started to shoot with Defective Films. Simon found that filming was where his real interest lay. Now that he has a couple of solid video parts, with the most recent one being "Child Support," behind him, he is ready to take his career to the next level. Simon recently joined the Mack Dawg People crew to film for their fall 2008 release, "Down with People." Simon melded well with the new and progressive crew of People guys and thrived in the new environment. Simon will continue to work hard so that he can take his snowboarding to the next level alongside top pros like Seth Huot and JP Walker.
