Here is Episode 2 of Wade Goodall's Creative Destruction web series. After the first episode followed Wade as he partied and surfed with Metallica, fans were probably expecting the rockstar status to get to Wade's head. Not a chance mate! Wade brings along fellow pilot Sterling Spencer as they visit an orphanage in mainland Mexico, the same one featured in the surf documentary Somewhere Near Tapachula. It was truly touching to see and hear the kids, the volunteers, and the visiting surfers interact and talk about their experiences. Smiles all around. Not too many pro surfers would spend a surf trip doing that.. After watching such a moving story, i was left with a lump in my throat and one lingering question: Who is Nadia?? (right at about 12:05) According to the caption, she is a volunteer the orphanage? Is she also an angel sent from heaven? Aside from the 30 or so magical seconds of her talking, there is no mention or images of her at all. Did Wade think he could just casually slip her into the story without any sort of explanation or backstory? I have so many questions, such as: Nadia, will you marry me?
