He and close skater friend Eric Koston created The Berrics, a private skatepark named after Berra + Eric = Berrics... The private "training facility" gained notoriety in the skate community through its website, theberrics.com Berra has several signature decks and shoes through Alien Workshop and DVS Shoes. He has focused on his skateboarding more recently though he has always had an interest in acting and film writing/making, after a short stint in acting in the late 90s on Fox drama 413 Hope Street. He did, however, write a movie (The Good Life) in 2006 about a young man, Jason, living in Nebraska encountering many social difficulties and going through many changes and learning many lessons in life.
