He did some time, and was on house arrest, not allowed to leave California for six months. He was still able to train and surf, but had to wear an ankle device at all times. As part of his community service he coached the "hoale" boys over at Huntington Beach High School. He was recently let off house arrest and was able to return to Hawaii to compete in the Xcel Pro at Sunset Beach. |
