With each trip he as improved his skills and technique, and now that he is free to focus 100 percent on the WQS it's game on! In July of 2009, just in time for his 21st birthday, Tanner celebrated the biggest victory of his career at the 6-Star Mr. Price Pro in South Africa. The win vaulted him all the way up into the number 6 spot in the WQS rankings. Yet with a long season still ahead, Tanner knows his job isn't finished yet.

Though competition started all the way back on Saturday with some Pro Junior's and Women's prelims, today the WQS 6-Star main event reaches the Round of 96, where a throng of current and former world champions will do battle with several former US Open champions and a long list of up-and-comers.
