| AboutVermont native Tanner Rainville has been a constant around the comp scene the last three years. The talented 20-year-old who currenty lives in Sqaw Valley, CA recently finished 5th in Superpipe at the US Open in Vail, CO with a switch 720 in the pipe. He dislocated his shoulder while skiing in Nov. 2004 and still says he has lingering effects from the injury. New to WX is 19-year old Vermonter Tanner Rainville who in 2004 finished third in slopestyle at two of the biggest freeski comps of the year, the U.S. Open and the Vermont Freeski Open. He actually even beat the other Tanner, Tanner Hall, at the US Open. (Hall finished 4th). Rainville joined the elite group of skiers who film annually with Matchstick productions in 2004, proving that he can hang with the best of them both in front of the camera and during competition. |
