According to Freestyle watches Teddy is officially the first pro to ever come out of Whittier. He now lives in Huntington Beach, which gives him more time in water, and less time spent sitting in traffic.

One thing that is definitely official is that Teddy f@#%ing shreds. That may be the reason they call him "Shred" or "Shreddy," just a hunch. When he's not traveling the globe for surf he can be found getting his gruel on with the rest of the Detroit Street Gruelers.
