Thumper got his name because he kicked so much when he was a baby. 2003 was his rookie year, and he made the most of his time on the pro tour, finishing the 2003 season with a 4th place ranking, ahead of Marc Englehart. He just started working in a business with his father, selling frozen wild salmon.
