I love this. Very Red Bull Elevation-esque. Hopefully Unit sees the potential for this event and makes this their main BMX event. They do so many, which is awesome, but I think one epic course with everybody there will help bring attention to better events like this. Props to the Aussies for continually building bigger and faster courses than anywhere else.

Biography

TJ Ellis is a professional BMX rider from Riverside area in California.

Well known for his dirt jumping domination, TJ has been on the scene for a while. At times, he was flying under the radar and wasn't considered a big threat to the top pros. More recently, however, he has come out of his shell and with his arsenal of flip and spin variations he has taken contests by storm, and competitors by surprise.

He won the Warriors of Wood contest recently, beating the likes of Anthony Napolitan and Mike Clark who was pretty much favored to win the contest with his style and double backflip attempt. TJ Ellis technical style of jumping, opposite 3 variations and frontflip and backflip variations, proved to best all the others though.

It seems TJ is now getting the credit he deserved on the contest scene and is earning his way to the top, first place finish after first place finish.
