| Andy Finch and Tommy Czeschin cast on the Amazing RaceBeing an old pro snowboarder apparently has its perks. ![]() Andy Finch and Tommy Czeschin, who have seen better days in the snowboard contest world, are testing their hands at new type of competition on the Amazing Race. The former Olympic snowboarders will be on season 19 of CBS's hit show. They will be competing against 10 other duos for the final prize of 1 million dollars. The other teams are made up of couples, siblings, father-son combos, and two cocktail servers from Vegas that seem to pack a punch. While Finch and Czeschin have their work cut out for them, their prior careers as pro shreds will certainly come into play while navigating travel plans throughout the competition. In an interview on CBS.com Finch said he hopes "to win some pretty cool prizes that I can share with my wife. I'm pretty set on taking everyone down!" Czeschin is determined to win also and said he looks forward to ''the experience, traveling the world, competing, and getting to know the other teams." Admittingly, we've never watched the show. Not sure if we will, but you can tune to CBS on September 25th for the Amazing Race's Premiere. Head here to watch the video "Meet contestants Tommy and Andy." THE AMAZING RACE is a seven-time Emmy Award-winning reality series hosted by Emmy Award- nominated host Phil Keoghan, which pits 11 teams, each comprised of two members, against each other on a trek around the world for approximately 25 days. At every destination, each team must compete in a series of challenges, some mental and some physical, and only when the tasks are completed will they learn of their next location. Teams who are the farthest behind will gradually be eliminated as the contest progresses, with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning $1 million. Quiksilver Cluck Off, answer to Roxy Chicken Jam, March 28While the all-girls slopestyle and superpipe competition known as the Roxy Chicken Jam is taking place March 27-29 at Mammoth Mountain Resort in California, Quiksilver has decided to have a competition of its own just for the men, called the Quiksilver Cluck Off. The invitation-only half pipe competition will take place Sat., March 28 at 4p.m. at the Mammoth Mountain superpipe. Eight Mammoth Mountain locals are set to compete in a half-hour half pipe jam session. The competing locals include Greg Bretz, Trevor Jacob, Luke Wynen, Spencer Whiting and Garrett Wynert from the Mammoth Junior team, Patrick Reddy, Tommy Czeshin and eight-year old Judd Henkes. The half pipe competition will be judged by snowboarding Olympians - Quiksilver's Todd Richards and Roxy's Torah Bright, as well as Mammoth Mountain's Oren Tanzer. First place prize is a big $1,000, winner takes all. "The Quiksilver Cluck Off is amazing because as soon as you say cluck instead of the four-letter word it rhymes with, you realize it's totally cool to have it on a t-shirt in huge letters," says head judge Todd Richards. The Roxy Chicken Jam is a three-day professional snowboard contest and festival. The festival includes a free concert with Cold War Kids and Santogold on Saturday evening in the Mammoth Mountain Village. For more information on the Quiksilver Cluck Off, visit quiksilver.com/snow.
