Well, it's over: She sang, and the fat lady is now crawling back under her little rock or wherever it is she hides between gigs. We now have ourselves a brand new (and perhaps overdue) 250 Motocross champion who is becoming a championship machine as his career rolls onward.

That machine, of course, is Ryan Dungey. He showed every attribute of a champion this season, as things went from dominant to depressing for him on several occasions, but he was able to hold it together and..

Kyle Chisholm's back from a successful winter racing supercross (arenacross) in Germany. Pretty much dominant while he was over there - he is the King of Dortmund after easily winning all three main events - Kyle's jumping in to the AMA Supercross series at nearly full speed. Since he finished top 20 in Supercross class points last year, Chisholm wasn’t eligible to race Lites this year but that’s probably for the best - he’s getting pretty big for a 250F. He got a hellacious start in the main, then crashed, then moved up to 12th by lap 14 and stayed there to the finish. 12th in the Supercross class this year mean’s he’s in between riders like Millsaps and Tommy Hahn just inside the top 10, to Nick Wey and Jason Thomas just behind them. He’s fast, he should get faster, but it’s going to be hard to move into that top group for Kyle.
