In 1999 whenr Vinicius turned pro, they closed the skate park near his house and he was forced to make a three hour journey to a metal ramp if he wanted to practice. It was only in the last year that they finally rebuilt a vert ramp in Sao Paulo so now he is able to skate every day. He plays soccer and studies broadcast journalism at university.
