I went to the event here at Grant Park in Chicago and watched Zack from the side of the ramp for the first time. It was qualifying for the 7 available spots on the high vert ramp. Zack has an insane crash on his first run. right off the ramp into some bike racks. Looked real bad. He came back and was killing his second attempt and lost his rear wheel with seconds to go. He slid off the ramp onto his feet 20 feet in front of me and my two sons. He walked up to us and asked my 9 year old Son Paul, " Hey kid, you want my bike?". He then gave my Son his BIKE. We were in total shock. I thought it was a joke for about 10 minutes. Well it wasn't a joke. That bike is in Paul's room as I type this. I can't thank you enough Zack for what you did for those boys. They are fans forever. Not only is Zack as tough as Titanium, he's an amazing ambassador for the sport AND he supports our troops! Every single fan there that day knew what he did. It was cool as Hell to experience that buzz. THANK YOU ZACK!!

Zach's definitely up and coming athlete for BMX. I think he's got such sick style. I met him earlier this summer when he was doing a promo event for Levi's in SoCal. Best of luck to Zack!!
