It's difficult to do a DVD review when the video simply rendered you speechless. I could let the results do the talking; 2010 NORA Cup video of the year and video part of the year thanks to Corey Martinez. However, this video has even more than just great riders with crazy bangers. It has 2 years' history behind it.This Is United really taught me something, and this thing is that I do not think I could be a filmer. I do not think I could be responsible for a rider's clip considering how much he is putting into it. I know unfortunate things do happen in reality like deleting/missing files, out of focus clips, etc. but when looking at the things these guys are doing I could not imagine them landing it after a really bad fall or hours of agonizing attempts and me having to say "Oh bro, dude, sorry I forgot to hit record".
Another thing drawn from this DVD: United probably has one of the most underrated teams in BMX. Yeah we all know Martinez and Williams and the more BMX knowledgable of us have a school boy crush on Slattery and the Forte brothers, but United's lesser known riders are amazing and this DVD should take care of that whole "lesser known" thing. Ashley Charles has a nice section that puts him back into our minds since we haven't heard much of him lately. Ryan Metro is another name we're reminded of in TIU. Jimmy Rushmore, as well, with some surprising clips that I was simply taken aback by.
Geoff Slattery has a BRUTAL section that kept me on the edge of my seat, quite literally, like fight scenes from The Expendables. Geoff is definitely one of those guys that looks at things from a different perspective and sees things that no one else would even notice. Where there's a will, there's a way. He should get that tattooed on him. Also, I can never forget the Forte brothers. Style runs in the blood. Besides the usual trails footage, they have some great, fast street clips and keep it very Forte. I love these guys for their consistency. You may not hear of them much, but the thing you loved about them years ago is the thing you love about them now.

Now, on to the elephant in the room. ElephantS. Nathan Williams and Corey Martinez both have two-song sections and Martinez got the ender section, fitting for a Nora Cup video part winner. 2 songs each of your 2 favorite riders is worth a lot more than what this DVD costs, trust me. I'm not going to go into detail because that's your job to find out by getting this DVD, plus I can't even explain properly some of the things they were doing. Words could NEVER do justice to either of these parts. I know you have probably heard about some of the clips, considerably the bangers, in these guys' parts so just realize that yeah, those are in here, and more. Are you still reading this? You should be ordering this DVD by now!
In case you were wondering, watch the clips during the credits. I know some people skip them but you have to watch them because they are funny and one of them is a proper OMFG clip. You'll see. Speaking of credits, give major props to Coxie and all the boys at United for putting this thing together so damn well. Almost every clip had 2 filmers and a photographer on it, the music selection is great, the filming and editing look like they were planned out before they even got to the spot. Furthermore, props for the packaging and general design of the whole DVD. The booklet is a great little photo feature, including the many airplane tickets that equate to a video with such diversity in spots and riders. Read the fun facts page: nearly a million MB of footage...
You can guess what I did after watching this... Yep...

Also, the proper reaction to landing your banger clip is to give everybody a thumbs up as you ride away... FACT.
