The Goose Lets Loose

By: the full 20 inches

Mongoose made some unexpected moves late last year, dropping contest heavyweights and longtime 'Goose guys Steve McCann and Simon Tabron, and they've made their reasons a bit more clear with the recent announcement of their replacements. Seems they're attempting to take the more "hardcore street" route, adding Philadelphia's J.J. Palmere and Tulsa's Miles Rogoish to the team for 2009 (Aussie Cam White remains on the team to hold down the dirt duties).

They're already at work on a J.J. signature frame (pictured) with all the modern bells and whistles. It'll have a 21" top tube and removable brake mounts, and they say the proto weighs in at 4.5lbs.

Check out The Come Up's interview with J.J. here, as well as the latest edits from J.J. and Miles below.
