I don't know who really sparked this idea of the build kits, Dan's Comp? However, Fit did a build kit witht here complete bicycle parts and now Stolen is doing it. From this video, it seems you can get the build kit, everything shown and everything needed other than a frame, and a Sunday frame , slightly expensive frame, for about $900. Stolen has a pretty good reputation actually and i wouldn't be surprised to see this idea take off. We will see. Anyways, here's a video of one of the first transactions as such, including prices, weights, and build times... blah!

Unfortunately, one of the best riders to do it on the mega ramp and last year's champion, Chad Kagy, came down hard on his leg and would only complete a run worthy of third place earning him the bronze medal.
