Typical Day for T-Nez

By: the full 20 inches

Corey Martinez
This "day in the life" edit with Corey Martinez (above, with Red Bull's Ilana Taub) just showed up over on ESPN - the manual to hangover toothpick to 180 he does at the park is bananas. Speaking of EXPN, new hire Brian Tunney has been killing it with interesting, original blog entries that are totally worth checking out. Click his name to see his even better personal blog.

Mark Webb is a Machine

By: the full 20 inches

This is ridiculous. The UK's Mark Webb comes through with a healthy dose of technical jib-jabbery in this web edit. If this guy can stay healthy, he's going to be a big threat to the contest scene in '09, and along with Harry Main, he'll make up the new British Invasion.

Pump Up the Volume

By: the full 20 inches

volume
There's been a lot going on over at Volume and Demolition lately. They just picked up L.A. street shred Daniel Martinez (in the above photo from the Volume site), and are now supporting Chijoke Okafo through Canada's Ten Pack Distribution. Chijoke's coming straight out of the shadows, so check a recent interview with him here.

Jason Enns, the legendary rider who also serves as the Volume/Demolition team manager, made the move from Canada to SoCal early this year, and another OG Volume rider, Kris Bennett, returned to the team after a stint on Verde. They got together to produce this "day in the life" edit of Enns, so check it below...

Flat Happenings

By: the full 20 inches

The prestigious King of Ground flatland series has announced their '09 schedule, with events througout Japan in April, July, and October. This series always brings out the heavy hitters, so make a note of the dates if you happen to be planning a journey to the land of the rising sun this year.

In other flat news, Chad Johnston's long-awaited DVD project with the KGB crew is available; check out the trailer below, and order your copy at Flatland Fuel.

Simon Tabron at Woodward West

By: the full 20 inches

simon
Simon Tabron made the move to southern California from the UK after the contest season last year, so he's been hitting up Woodward West to keep his vert chops on point. Here's an edit featuring a few of his banger 540 variations, spotted on Ride BMX. Simon's no slouch on the guitar, either; he's been playing and writing songs for years. Check out his contribution to TJ Lavin's tribute to Stephen Murray - Soldier - below.
