The ASA Triples contests are contests where riders go head-to-head to eliminate each other on a course that is simply 2 doubles and a quarterpipe. I am more or less against it, against the course overview mostly, but I do think the head-to-head action is new and exciting. Why not? Plus, the riders have fun gunning against each other and playing with the new format. C'mon people, this isn't ultimate octagon fighting or anything, it's BMX. All the riders know each other and have probably shared a few beers and laughs on more than one occassion. Have fun!
