Vital BMX and Ride BMX both have coverage of the first day of the Nike 6.0 HB BMX Pro... click the names for their articles.

Daniel Dhers is said to have dominated the first day. This is no surprise as his park riding prowess is always revealed at these big contests and he brings some of the biggest tricks to the table with the biggest mouth guard smile you will ever see.

Mike Spinner follows closely behind with a performance true to his last name and Garrett Reynolds, with his more street-directed style, also stood on top of the game.

Props out to Andy Buckworth whom entered the contest as sort of an alternate for injured riders. Funny because now he's in the top five, a potential podium rider.

All the other top names are doing they're thing, battling it out in the Southern Cali heat. Stay tuned for day two, more to come...
