Jackson Hole is one of those places that has had great mountain biking pretty much since the advent of the mountain bike. Cache Creek, Game Creek, the Putt Putt Trail, and the whole area behind Snow King in general offers some of the best singletrack you’ll find anywhere. There are car-shuttle downhill options off of Teton Pass. I won’t even get into all the places to ride a mountain bike in the Teton Valley by Driggs and Victor, Idaho and Grand Targhee Resort.
Like many mountain bike destinations with awesome, organic riding, however, it’s only in the past few years, that Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has committed time and resources into a bike park. The Jackson Hole Bike Park has evolved quickly as a competitive option for serious gravity riders. The resort has employed Gravity Logic, the same brains behind Whistler’s ground breaking bike park to map, design and build a network of dedicated mountain bike trails, all serviced by a 5-minute ride on the Teewinot lift.
The Jackson Hole Bike Park opens for the summer this Saturday, June 15, and will operate daily until September 2, and weekends through September. Check out this preview video from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and learn more about mountain biking in Jackson Hole HERE.
