BMX Plus! magazine November 2008 issue Eben Fischer might be off Stolen Bikes but he is ON the cover of BMX Plus! Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's not his first cover either. The contents page is a bit of a misprint but England's Jamie Dalzell gets the two page photo. The features of this issue start off with Dave "The Lord" Voelker taking you back to BMX radditude. And that's not the only coverage the Lord got in this issue. Mr. Nice Guy Chris Doyle Answers some questions on the spot on page 34. If you just bought some big bars and need some tips on how to install them, turn to page 38 for a Tech Tip. Mike Spinner takes you through the 720 spin. What he has to say might just be the info you need to give it a try. Spin to win. BMX Plus! went to the Nike offices in Portland and came back with bike checks of the 6.0 riders ( Reynolds, Enarson, Sylvester and Spinner ) and of course some new kicks. We have been showing loads of new products here on FATBMX in the last few weeks and also BMX Plus!...

Gary Young Wins 2008 Busan TreX Games! First International Olympic Committee Sanctioned BMX Event in Korea. So the day before Interbike in Las Vegas, Gary gets a call from Mat Hoffman about going to this crazy BMX event in Busan, Korea. One long plane trip later and it turns out that Gary's shred capabilities are globally compatible and he topped the podium while most everyone else in the BMX world was waking up with a hangover in Vegas....

By going to these bicycle tradeshows you get to talk to the industry people that keep putting new products on the market. Also distributors and dealers walk around looking for new products that they want to sell at their businesses. After a couple of days at the show you get an impression about the current state of BMX and although everyone likes to say that things are great, the overal feeling was that BMX these days is pretty stable. With the industry being run by BMX passionate people, I don't believe it's going away anytime soon....

When you start a band with extreme sports althletes, it will be hard to get everyone together to play a gig. Dan Dryers from Germany did get their 7 person crew together for a gig in the Double Down in Las Vegas during the last day of the Interbike show. They were actually on a California/Arizona/Nevada tour which will look good on their resume once they get back to their home country. Although only 10 people showed up at their first gig, they even got a little pit together in the Double Down Saloon. New costumes were purchased along the way and especially Martin and Busty looked great in their new outfits....

Instead of traveling to California to meet 5 people in one week, it is way easier to go to Interbike in Las Vegas and meet up with 150 people that you have not seen in a year or so. Interbike is not only about the new products but catching up with the BMX riders and industry at the same time. Check out the first photos of the show and expect to see more in the upcoming days as there was a lot to see in the BMX Zone and at the booths outside. Viva Las Vegas!...
