"The idea of Brigada Eyewear wasfirst conceived in early 2006 by Jim Greco, Andrew Reynolds, Terry Kennedy, and myself. Since there were no skater owned and operated sunglass brands we all got together and thought, 'We all wear shades. Why not start our own company? Together we came up with the name Brigada, meaning a brigade or a crew, sketched up a logo at the local diner and gathered up all of our ideas for things we would like to see made. Before we knew it we had something real and people were starting to take notice to it. It seems like forever since we received the first samples a little over a year ago, but we've come a long way and we're all really proud of what we created and made a reality.
