After a very long-term relationship Rune Glifberg and Etnies have parted ways. Rune had ridden for Etnies longer than anyone else on the team. According to Etnies he has left to pursue new opportunities in the "footwear world," and they wish him the best of luck.

Here's an update straight from Andy's mouth on what he has been up to since he injured his ankle. I don't think the fast food is helping any bud.

"I've been hurt due to an ankle injury for the past month, so I haven't been doin' much but watching old bike vids and eating fast food. But I should be back on my bike soon and I cant wait. Here's a photo my buddy Rick snaped before I rolled my ankle." Go to www.etniesbmx.com

Just another reminder that the Goofy vs. Regular shred battle will for sure heat up tomorrow and will only gain momentum through Sunday. If you find yourself in the Lake Forest area check it out. Hell, Bad Religion is playing, even if you don't find yourself in the area you should check it out.

You know what's funny? Since we are in an election year, that's the theme Etnies is going for in the 2008 edition of this contest. I'm regular and according to Etnies I'm blue, which is good, just incase you didn't know that's the color of the Democratic party. All you goofy guys are red, ew that's the color of Republicans, so go skate with McCain and his old man balls.

The contest that pits regular footers against goofy footers is this Friday at the Etnies skate facility in Lake Forest. Some of the best street skaters the world has to offer and Bad Religion will be there. I guess the only question is, will you?
