A D V E R T I S E M E N T DetailsHeadquarters:1300 South Lyon Street Phone: (714) 835-3400 Sports:BMX Website: | Tom White's "Making of Stay Fit" EpisodeIf you haven't been keeping up with Fit Bike Co.'s "making of" web episodes leading up to the release of their latest video, Stay Fit, you're missing out. Episode 18 just came available, with Tom White showing you how hard (and how easy) it can sometimes be to get a clip done for your part. What might be a good idea can still turn out to look like ass; filming a feature video part is no joke. Channels: Bike At Home with Daniel Benson (4down BMX)Daniel Benson is a BMX rider from London who rides for Fit Bike Co through 4down Distribution. 4down has an awesome 'channel' on vimeo where they post a hot list of videos, most recently this At Home with Daniel Benson. He has a great bag of tricks and style. So watch it. 4down wrote: "The latest in our at home with series features Daniel Benson on home turf in London. shot during the bleak midwinter, so there are no sightings of his famous beach shorts. 4downdistribution.com fitbikeco.com" Channels: Bike 20 Questions: Brian FosterBrian Foster. Bring up that name in any conversation with a BMX rider and you'll hear nothing but praise. There simply aren't many riders like Brian. He's a natural, one of the few who possess straight-up bike skills - not dirt, ramp, or street skills, but the whole shebang. If he's on his bike, he can handle whatever you throw at him. He started out racing and riding trails, winning an elite-level pro race and a pro dirt-jumping comp in the very same weekend in 1997. As his career evolved, he surprised everyone by hanging first in dirt, then on ramps, and even knocking out some street bangers - the dude is just dialed. He medaled at the X Games four years in a row, including a gold medal in Dirt in 1998. At X Games '02 and '03, he competed in three very different disciplines: Dirt, Park, and Downhill BMX. These days, BF enjoys well-earned legend status, doing the things that make him the happiest, and doing them with unmatched style. Clicked just posted a random 20-question interview with him that ended up covering a good chunk of his career, with some goofy photos and old videos embedded throughout. Definitely worth a look. In an effort to bring you more blog for your buck, we're going to add a little six-degrees of separation thing here. Brian rides for Fit Bike Co., who recently posted a news item about Perry Petermueller, one of the guys who rides for their German distributor, All Ride (Perry just scored the latest issue of Freedom BMX magazine). By coincidence, Nike 6.0 just dropped a web edit officially announcing their German team (which of course includes Perry), which you can view right here: Nike 6.0 Introducing the German Team from timm on Vimeo. Channels: Bike Fit UK's Greece Trip Video4Down Distribution just dropped an edit from the Fit UK team's recent travels in Greece; check it out below. Head over to RideUK for some photos from the trip. In other Fit news, they're now offering complete build kits (above) so you can get a break on building up a full bike. Always thinking, those guys... Channel 4Down BMX :: Fit UK In Greece! from Channel 4Down on Vimeo. Channels: Bike Staying FitThere's a lot going on with Fit Bike Co. at the moment; they just revamped their site, so it now has all kinds of little goodies to keep you occupied. The biggest is their weekly web-edit countdown to the release of the new "Stay Fit" DVD. They're starting at episode 30 (below) and have plans to post a new edit every week until the DVD is released. Pretty ambitious. Also below is a video bike check from Fit rider/HB bro Dakota Roche. If you're still aching for a Fit fix, check out the updates from the Fit UK team trip to Greece over on 4Down, and peep a Brian Foster bike check on Ride.
