  • Jensen In Foggy Ol' London Town

Nick Jensen is a stylie British skateboarder who quietly kills it on the not-so-skate-friendly old streets of London. He had a part in my favorite skate video of the year,"Make Friends With The Color Blue," put out by his deck sponsor Blueprint skateboards. It's a British brand and hasn't really made its mark in the US like Flip, but they're for sure legit.

Good skateboarders + good filming and editing = a good skateboard company. The video just really appeals to the senses. Visually appealing with it's European settings, and amazing on the audio senses with its creativity inspiring soundtrack. And Jensen's style oozing skateboarding fits perfect

Lakai, Jensen's shoe sponsor, felt it was necessary to keep the creation coming with some more footage of the Londoner. And if there is one skate brand that can make an internet short, that highlights the uniqueness of a skateboarder it's Lakai. Hell, there internet pollution rivals a lot of other skate brands video releases.

So check out another installment of Nick Jensen brought to you by Lakai:

  • Sean Malto On The News...Again

A few months back Sean Malto was on the news in Florida for wrecking the ledges at some new, fancy park in Palm Beach. They pretty much called him a hoodlum. Now, just the other day he was on the news in his hometown of Kanas City being praised, because apparently Sean Malto is "Big Business."

My favorite part beside the fact that the work of the rad Venice Beach artist, Pnut, is displayed behind him, is that they open the piece by saying "The high school dropout..." Did they really have to say that? It's like they had to put him down even though he makes more money than them, or they just wanted to encourage kids to dropout of school.

    Whatever, check it out below:

  • Tyler Bledsoe: The Future

One of the steeziest young skaters out there, Tyler Bledsoe, was on a tear last year, and has continued it into 2010. At the beginning of the year, The Skateboard Magazine declared the Oregonian The Best Am of 2009. Anyone who's seen him skate may be wondering to themselves, he's still Am?" That's correct, only because he's on one the best deck teams in the game, Alien Workshop. You have to put in your time to have a pro-model in a line-up that consists of names like: Kirchart, Saari, Dill, Drydeck, Berra, etc.

The teams he's a part of, are part of the reason he rips so hard. When he's not skating with the AWS crew, he's on tour with another legendary skate team, Fourstar. He trades the legends above for another group, names like: Koston, Carroll, Howard, Anderson, Mariano, etc. What about his shoe team, Etnies? Well, it's full of young mega-talents like himself, names like: Malto, Taylor, Sheckler, Calloway, etc. Being around other skaters that rip, both young and old, is one of the best things for an up-and-coming skater. You get advice from the guys that have been around, and you see what's next from the new regime. Bledsoe may have it better than any young skater out there in that department.

Check out some skating from Tyler Bledsoe in this Etnies video:

  • Thrasher At The Girl Open House

Girl skateboards had their 8th annual open house the other day. They open the doors to their skate facility, feed everyone In and Out, and show the industry what to expect from Girl/Chocolate/Fourstar/Royal/Skate Mental/Lakai in the upcoming year. They do this pretty much so they don't have to go to the tradeshows, which kickoff tomorrow down in San Diego. Jake Phelps and the Thrasher crew made a little video of the event check it out:
