Rich is sporting S&M/Fit goods now... also, Lotek just dropped the fall 09 line of shoes. Goody goody... I really want to see the soles on these shoes to make any judgements on them, but I really like the canvas Ians. A mix of classic styles with modern looks... but how does it hold up? Channels: Bike Travis Collier InterviewTravis Collier is one of those dudes who deserves respect. In a sea of imitators, Travis has always tweaked the things he did or the way he presented himself, whether it was bucking color and fashion trends or working up unique tricks as a pro flatland rider. Travis was going through design school while he was traveling the world competing, and he eventually graduated and took a job with a firm in Vancouver. He's still got his hands firmly in the BMX world though, riding after work and continually contributing new ideas to MacNeil, Fremont, and Lotek. Ride BMX just posted a short interview with Travis, which features, among other things, a little wisdom from someone who is experienced at cutting his own path: "Ultimately, I think for everything, it's important to escape what everyone else is doing and bring something new. That doesn't mean being different for the sake of being different. Find what you do, stop yourself from doing what you see." Check it out here. Photo by Harrison Boyce. Channels: Bike |
