  • Grenade Games 7: Day 1 and 2 videos

Now that the smoke has settled, the dust has cleared and everyone has gotten over their hangovers, the Grenade crew has rolled out the videos from day 1 and 2 of the seventh annual Grenade Games.

In the first video, the crew gets geared up for the weekend of fun in the sun at Bear Mountain. The Game sets it off with a sick set at the base of the mountain, while the pro shreds like Louie Vito, Dustin Craven and Chris Bradshaw get nasty in the mini-spine pipe and gap jump.

In the second video, Danny Kass and the Dingo wake up on rocks, literally and recap day one. Then they head to the hill for more shenanigans and shredding.

The 'Most Boned Contest' goes off with Bobby Meeks, Louie Vito, and Dustin Craven destroying the jump. Then 'Cop Buddy Chris' takes the best run of the day with Eddie Wall. The video is capped off with the duel slalom pond skim that is a hilarious must-see.

Grenade Games 7 lived up to it's name as the biggest party event of the season and these videos prove it.

  • Grenade Games 7: Bear Mountain

The 'Grenerds' and their ring leader Danny Kass rallied to Bear Mountain this weekend and sent it under sunny skies in spring break fashion for the seventh annual Grenade Games.

Snowboarder Magazine's Tom Monterosso was on the scene and brings us the full recap of action from Grenade Games 7.

    Words & Photos: T Bird

It may not have gone down on 4/20 this year, but the 7th annual Grenade Games drew stoners, boners, derelicts and degenerates to Big Bear yet again. Danny Kass and his RV full of alpine antagonists pulled in to Nig Bear Lake, California under sunny skies, but when the smoke cleared at the end of the Grenade Games, there were still vapor trails visible from San Bernardino.

The Grenade Games has become a gathering more so than an actual contest, and the Grenerds, as they're so aptly titled, certainly love a good ol' fashioned barn burner. This year was no different.

Roped off from the general public (and for good reason), the Grenade Games course, built by Clayton Shoemaker and the dedicated pushers at Bear, left little to be desired, and allowed the participants to have free reign over the entire venue in an all-out jam session where no feature was ever technically closed.

Because of this, the on-hill assemblage (including the likes of but not limited to Dustin Craven, the Dingo, Louie Vito, Keegan Valaika, Eric Messier, the Midget Mafia, Chris Bradshaw, Lucas Magoon, Zak Hale, Chris Brewster, Harrison Gordon, Shane Fortier, Brian Regis, Johnny Miller, Cody Rosenthal, Dylan Alito, Johnny Lazz, and the dreadlocked hero) had their way with every single feature all day long, with no strict regimen of who needed to hit when, when, and why. It was chaos, and truth be told, our kind rather enjoys chaos, controlled or not.

Get your arse on over to SNOWBOARDER MAG for the rest of the recap.

  • Euro Vaction: Grenade Trip to Italy and Austria

Grenade's Euro Vacation: Italy & Austria
The Grenade Crew recently took a trip to Europe and had themselves quite the adventure. They rallied all over Italy and Austria and luckily for us, Danny Kass opens up about when went down. Read what Capitan Dan-O has to say about their vacation and peep more pics here.

Words: General Danny Kass / Photos Courtesy of J Moustache and RIP ZINGER

Our journey took the Squad out of Berlin headed south into Austria. The Dachstein Glacier! We rolled the ECU into town at 5AM, jumped on a trampoline, harassed some farm animals and crashed out for a few hours before heading to the hill. Eero Niemela, The Dingo, Dustin Craven, Tom Ryen, Louie Vito, Rip Zinger and crew boarded the crazy Tram that went straight vertical. So many Poma lifts. Tired arms but some serious stuff went down. Dingo threw a 7, Tom Tom almost killed rip on the knuckle, then the rain set in. People were partying their Austrian faces off at the base of the Mtn. Feeling right at home amidst the Lederhosen and Biers. After being pushed from the Austrian Alps due to lightning and heavy assualts from the Traditionals in Lederhosen we we off to battle our next glacier in the Northern Region of Italy. A small town with a big Mtn. known at Val Senales. When we arrived we were so tired and beat down that "The Shining" style resort full of awesome amenities and delicious rations was the perfect change of pace from the blown out OCMT (Overloaded Camper Mover Transport, also known as the ECU, European Command Unit). Tom Tom went straight to work at the skatepark in town while myself, Eric Messier, Eero, and Jordan did an autograph signing for some locals (Cows). We got threatened by the Cows handler with a giant walking stick and someone got shoved. He was lucky this European Vacation was meant as a peace mission. The Bonersquad hit up a BBQ held in our honor by the local talent. DJ Messy Dick also known as Eric Messier blew those Euro minds apart with mixes until a raging lightning storm forced us inside. The next morning we were up early and ready to take on the 20 meter jump (100+ footer). We went up the glacier with a team of elite Italian soldiers and Sargent Eero was not afraid to lead the Squadron into shred park battle!!!! Private Craven, Vito and Ryen, and Myself were right behind to shut down the gentlemens camp. After destroying a quaint Italian Village and it's looming Mtn. we were on the road again and off to our final front. Switzerland.

  • Grenade Embarks On A European Vacation

Words carefully crafted from Mr. Danny Kass:

Basically, Euros watch your back. The Grenade Army is fully taking the other side of the world. Plus, it's summer time, they don't have shit to worry about besides breaking the law and consuming alcohol.
