Have you seen the sport of riverboarding? We ride small surfboards on rivers, shooting upstream at 30+ mph. No Boat! This sport brings surfing to the landlocked masses. I would think that Hurley would be interested in a sport that brings surfing to Idaho, Colorado, Arkansas, Texas, Vermont, etc. But I have tried for years to talk to someone at Hurley - Never any response. We did a demo for a group of sales reps last Summer and the first thing they said was "When this sport takes off, my wetsuit sales will increase dramatically". I guess Hurley is not interested in increasing their wetsuit sales dramatically?
