One of the East Coast's finest, Anthony Pappalardo, had his first solo furniture exhibit,Virgin White, last weekend in Brooklyn, NYC. Papps has been killing it for years on the streets, and lately he's been killing it in the workshop with his wood crafting skills. The exhibit delved into the labor intense process of making these benches that are simply works of art. He carves them from small blocks of common and exotic woods.

Pops held it down for the Right Coast in Fully Flared with his raw part of city slaying. Now, he's holding it down for all us skateboarders in the furniture world, which kind of makes up for all our destruction. I can't tell you how many benches I've ruined in my life by skating them. Lakai made a little video for the release of Rick Howard's new shoe, check it out below. It's funny because he has his wrist band on from Maloof in the video. They were real adamant that you only get one and to not take it off. Even, a legend like Rick couldn't take his off. Click here for more on Rick and his shoes.

While on their way up to San Francisco for the Back to the Berg contest Rick Howard, Mike Carroll and others from the Crailtap camp ran out of gas, and they twittered about it. What makes this even funnier is they were driving a Prius. Do know how long you have to drive with the gas light on to run out of gas in Prius. I have a Civic that's not even a hybrid, and I made from Hollywood to Huntington Beach with the gas light on, and none of the electric gas meter bars displayed.

A year or so ago, I was at some event that Eric Koston was at and he was wearing a shirt that said, "Lakai or Die." Well, I guess Frost decided to die, because as of right now he is off of Lakai footwear, and his feet are free agents.
