5 teams, each with 2 riders, will run a muck in Europe to produce a web edit, each done by a different director. The best web video will... well, we don't know but they'll definitely have the best video. So, let's run down the team right quick...

The WeThePeople team consists of Jason Phelan and Farren Downes. Phelan has already earned some hype in this "contest" with a clip in the trailer.

The Fly Bikes team consists of Daniel something or other... just call him Naran... and Stefan Lantschner. Stefan just released his Montana line with Fly and is a proper street rider.

The Fit Bike Co team consists of Alex Kennedy and Ian Bengochea. These young riders are tech street riders to the core and have more riding ahead of them at such young ages.

The Proper Bike Co team consists of Joris Coulomb and Michael Beran. Both PROPER riders. Lame joke. Sorry.

The Mirraco team consists of Harry Main and Maxime Charveron. Is this unfair? Harry and Maxime is like a super team. But this is a street contest, not a box jump contest.

Let's see how this competition unfolds as each web video is released in two week intervals on specific sites. Go to the official website to get the information on that. Check the trailer below...

  • Exclusive Edits and Important Information

Alright. I tried to write a blog that all rhymed and rapped in rhythm but it got too difficult to get the point across so long story short, I have a bike check with Corey Martinez, an interview with Dave Mirra, and web edits with Harry Main and the mastermind behind The Come Up BMX... YUP! Adam Twenty Two!

Corey Martinez displays his dialed United rig. Thing is dialed looking and I want to steal it... well not really.

Dave Mirra drops some information on his invite only warehouse contest on the Mirraco site. This will be epic.

Harry Main is beyond talented and, coming back from an injury, I want to see him destroy the 2010 season.

Adam Grandmaison (adam22) of The Come Up BMX is about to lay down the law in this Lotek edit!

  • What's bread, BMXers?

Is BMXers the correct way to type it? I suppose I could just say riders but the letter B, M, and X are just too cool to leave out. BMX riders? Too long. BMX Bandits? Might get sued... ah, screw it, let's get to it...

THE COME UP x THE SHADOW CONSPIRACY exclusive web video.. won't embed. Click here...

I believe ride did this same article years ago. Regardless, here is how to put on your grips!!!

Interview with Jim Cielencki of Sunday Bikes from ESPN. Complete Disclosure.

Rich Hirsch is officially starting a parts company called STRANGER.

MIRRACO finally updated their website with a new parts company? Black Label?

Speaking of Dave Mirra. Here are some updated on his invite-only contest going down in his personal warehouse...
There will be fifteen riders in total, but for right now only eleven have been announced. The flier says 16 so I'm not sure if that's including Dave or something. Pardon my french, but this is f!ckin' cool!! Here's the rider list: Mike Laird, Ryan Guettler, Daniel Dhers, Morgan Wade, Rob Darden, Ryan Nyquist, Chase Hawk, Mark Webb, Harry Main, Dennis Enarson, and Craig Mast. PHEW!!! Invite Cranmer and Reynolds and you got a regular Dew Tour event.

New BMX PLUS! I am not going to post THE COVER because it is horrid. Truth.

New PROFILE ad. Love these cranks guys.

Give this kid credit for learning things the hard (dirty) way. Props man, keep it up...

CHASE HAWK in Odyssey's latest team video: ELECTRONICAL

TRUTH TO ME with MAT HOFFMAN. F!CK YES. YOU WILL WATCH THIS. He is the maniac mind behind BMX and kept the sport alive in it's lowest low (the late 80s early 90s). I think all action sports were pretty low then but the emergence of X Games and new tricks brought it all back. Us "BMXers" have Mat, among others, to thank for that...

  • Mike Spinner & Jimmy Fallon Ride Bikes

Mike Spinner appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show yesterday (4/22). Having a quarter pipe put together on the set, he did a tailwhip-tailtap with that and did some hop tricks (tailwhip&360;).

Jimmy Fallon is a funny dude, but clearly not an action sports enthusiast. To his credit, dress shoes and a nice suit are not the swagger of choice for most BMX riders, but the ensuing "bunny hop" is unjustifiable as Jimmy, with his safety helmet on, lifts the front tire an inch off the floor with an uncomfortable jerk of motion. No offense to the late night show host, but stick to comedy. I really wish, actually, he would bring back Nick Burns from SNL on his show. His company computer guy skit killed it (one of my favorite SNL skits).

[I know a lot of people (like full 20 inches) hate Jimmy Fallon, which I do not completely disagree with, but people must understand he is not a stand up comedian. So when he does any comedy where it is just him standing up... put the mute button on. I agree. He is a skit comedian. If you watched him on SNL you probably know this. I watched part of his show once and wasn't entirely impressed, but watch one skit of Nick Burns from SNL... and you will laugh.]
