  • Sagepalooza in Mammoth

As much as we don't like to admit it, sometimes snowboard edits can be a bit dull. Sure, big name riders are throwing down big time tricks, but watching banger after banger can only be interesting for so long. The revolving rut in shred edits prompted Sage Kotsenburg and Nike 6.0 to take charge and spice things up with Sagepalooza.

The first episode blasted onto to the internet with a fresh and alluring look into professional shredding. Sage was given the reins to do as he pleased so he invited his favorite crew for some serious spring shredding at Mammoth Mountain. With his homies in tow, Sage stomps some sick tricks throughout the entire edit. From steezy, mellow runs through Mammoth's main park to massive hits on the kickers, Sagepalooza has it all. We even get a glimpse at Sage attempting a triple cork 1260... Let's just say, that's some scary shit....

  • Technine and Satellite's "Reunion" premier recap

Technine and Satellite present The Reunion
For nineteen years, Satellite, a Boulder based shred shop, has thrown the biggest sample sale and premier party to ever hit Colorado. Known simply as "The Reunion," the event brings out big name pros and party shred heads interested in getting gear and peeping the season's hottest flicks. This year, three films made their debut on the big screen of Boulder's famous Fox Theatre. They were Airblaster's "Respect Your Elders", Videograss's I'm with Stupid, and FODT's "The Arena."

The night started off with a meet and greet cocktail hour at the Brandbase offices which house the operations of Technine and Nomis.

After everyone was properly satiated with sushi, chicken wings and copious vodka drinks, it was time to head to the Fox and get down to premier party business.

The festivities started off with an autograph session with the shreds stars. Everyone in attendance was stoked to hang with their rider idols and get some sweet gear in the process.

Once the crowd had their fill of fawning over some of snowboarding hottest and most modest riders, it was time for the movie mayhem to begin. Airblaster kicked things off with "Respect your Elders" which led directly into the highly anticipated Videograss film, "I'm with Stupid." Both flicks contain all the classic elements you want to see in shred flicks. There's banger backcountry, raw rail scenes, and lifestyle party parts that show the fun side of snowboarding. These videos hyped up the crowd and everyone could hardly contain themselves for FODT's/Technine's "The Arena." The last film of the night was straight up bangdizzle and amped up everyone for the season to come.

Big ups to Brandbase, and Satellite for having such a sick night. Be sure to check out the rest of the nights mischief in the album: The Reunion.
