A D V E R T I S E M E N T My Info | Ramondetta Destroys PortlandPeter Ramondetta has had a hell of a coupe years on his skateboard. He had been killing it for more than a minute with the Real crew. Then, he started killing contest. For the past two years he's been one of the most consistent skaters at all of the Maloof events, and has made several finals. He also competed in the inaugural Street League series, which in case you don't know is the best of the best. While all that was going he has also done something more important in terms being a Real skateboarder; he has gotten clips for his sponsors. There's the soon-to-be released Real skateboarders video, which he'll have a major part in. Then there's all the ads and shots in the mag, in between nagging ankle injuries. And he even had time to short an internet series for his shoe sponsor Circa. Check him out in Part one getting his transition on at a Portland Park. Channels: Skate Chima Is Now Pro![]() It must be National Turn Your Best Am Pro Day because Real skateboards has just announced that Chima Ferguson is now pro. Chima's been a force in skateboarding for years now. Getting shots in the mags, video clips for his sponsors and even winning the occasional contest. He was may MVP of the Maloof Money Cup NYC, more for his off-the-skateboard-performance. He was in full party mode both days, and even wore a cardboard box sign the last day that said, "Bastein #1 F--k The Rest." He also put on quite a show later that night at Max Fish, I wasn't there but from what I heard he was putting on a show. I was too busy getting a kiss from Lady GaGa (for real), stay tuned for more on that in a post I'll call, The Night I Blew Off The Scene And Stumbled Into an Even Bigger Scene. Channels: Skate Busenitz, Ramondetta And A BoxDennis Busenitz is one of the best all-around street skaters out there right now; he skates fast, stylish and innovative. The San Francisco resident splits his time between skateboarding, being a father and now apparently crafting skate obstacles. Check out this Real video of Booze, Ramondetta and a granite box, which by the way is heavy. Channels: Skate Lost Days And ThrowawaysThe crew over at Real skateboards has been filming for their much anticipated video for some time now. The skateboard world is expecting big things from this video, so there's a fair share of throwaway footage that is still pretty damn rad to watch. So, it would only make sense that Real would drop a little webisode series where they could feature some of these clips, thus Lost Days and Throwaways was born. Here's Chapter 34, another LA edition. My favorite part is at the end when GrindTV's favorite skate at the moment, Dennis Busenitz, bombs that hill, and some guy says "Somebody live in S.F." Then, another guy goes, "Somebody give him Skater of the Year." Come on, Phelps I think he deserves it. Channels: Skate We Finally Have An AgendaThe Agenda trade show went down last week in Hurlington Beach, aka Nike Town. I'm calling Huntington that because at the same time the show was doing it's thing, the Hurley US Open of Surfing was in full swing down the street at the pier. It seemed Hurley/Nike took control of the town for a few days, there were hats everywhere that said, "HB," with the "H" a Hurley logo. Not that that's a bad thing, because the Hurley/Nike/Converse crew really saved that contest, which had been ruined by even bigger non-surf/skate/snow/BMX corporations over the years. Anyway, back to Agenda. It's a show that is geared for the brands that don't really fit in at ASR and Surf Expo. The core-skate/art/fashion brands of the industry were all in attendance. They've been having this show simultaneously with ASR the past few years, offering limo rides right out in front of the ASR doors to their show down the street. Now, that they've picked their own date, which allowed the brands to completely focus on Agenda, the show was much bigger. Let's hope the ball keeps rolling.
