Friday November 5th, 40 years of BMX history will be on display at the Bixby Knolls Expo Center in Long Beach, CA (4321 Atlantic Avenue). Free to the public and the mayor will be attending from 7:30 to 8 pm to promote a BMX day!
Saturday November 13, at the same location, meet BMX greats Bob Haro, Eddie Fiola, and more. 4130 Subway Series Rides will do a ride with planned stops and activities at each. Giant Bicycles afterparty as well.
Sunday November 14, 9030 Somerset Boulevard in Bellflower, CA. BMX freestyle by S&M, dirt jumping by Redline, and flatland by Ling Designs. BMX races by Intense and much more.

I'm going to guess it's simply because of the speed of news spreading around the internet but it makes it seems like riders are really getting hurt a lot more now. They always are so I'm probably just exaggerating but we see rider after rider ending up being reported injured and luckily we have the ARF and the entire BMX community always ready to help out when someone is in need.

Josh was 360ing a spine and anybody who has ever ridden a spine knows how hard it is to dial in the landing, especially on a spin trick. He landed flat and took a bar end to the chest, breaking ribs and fracturing vertebrae.

He is currently in the hospital and recovering but is in good shape. Given the proper time to recover we know Josh will be back on his bike again.
