BioThe Search is the driving force behind our progress and vision. When Crew are chasing uncharted reefs, untracked powder or unridden rails, we want to arm them with the best equipment they'll need. No matter where your travels lead you, we'll have you covered. We've been the market leaders in surfing wetsuits for over 30 years, and our Elastomax and SlickSkin technologies have set the standard for wetsuits of the future. Our aim in making surfboards, especially handcrafted custom boards, is to fit the board to the surfer to where he wants to go on a wave. The Curl's watch technology is more advanced than one ever thought possible. With a quick glance at your wrist our tide watches let you know what the tide is doing and when. Our Mountainwear is designed to give the surfer ultimate amounts of freedom, while keeping them warm, comfortable and stylish on the snow. Rip Curl will continue to stick by the grass roots that helped make us the market leader in surfing, but we'll also charge on in to the future and push riding to a new level. |

Would Rip Curl be interested in sponsoring the first Surfing Contest ever held in Idaho? Banshee Bungee Surfing will hold a contest at the Payette River Experience River Festival this Summer. www.thepre.com - - I honestly don't think you guys ever check this page :-(

Thanks for reaching out but we are going to stick to what we know and that is the ocean. Best of luck finding a sponsor for the event and take care.

Have you seen the sport of riverboarding? We ride small surfboards on rivers, shooting upstream at 30+ mph. No Boat! This sport brings surfing to the landlocked masses. I would think that Rip Curl would be interested in a sport that brings surfing to Idaho, Colorado, Arkansas, Texas, Vermont, etc. But I have tried for years to talk to someone at Rip Curl - Never any response. We did a demo for a group of sales reps last Summer and the first thing they said was "When this sport takes off, my wetsuit sales will increase dramatically". I guess Rip Curl is not interested in increasing their wetsuit sales dramatically?
