What fixates our minds on the shred in August? What drags us out of bed at 5:00 for the first chair after all these years? What compels us to constantly daydream about hitting hips along the side of the road as we ride shotgun? What pulls us out of the house in the rain? What makes us do finger tricks on trannies we find in the kitchen? What drags us to the hill in March or April when skate parks and golf courses have opened?

It’s how snowboarding feels. It’s how it feels to float in bottomless pow. It’s how it feels to spin high above the deck of a jump. It’s how it feels to finally learn that handrail trick. It’s how it feels to tweak a method. It’s how it feels to butter flat ground. It’s how it feels to truly progress and dial-in style on that new trick. It’s how it feels to play around on a simple funbox with a crew of friends. It’s how it feels to clear a natural gap you found. And, yes, it’s now it feels to carve powder.
