  • Diaries Downunder Episode 2: Sky Diving And Early Shredding At The Remarks

WinterVolume Productions brings the second episode of Diaries Downunder following the crew during the start of their 2010 season. The amount of snow that's already fallen overseas is ridiculous and these boys are taking full advantage of their early season blue bird days.

This episode Nick Hyne, Stef Zeestraten and Jake Koia are thrown out of a plane 15,000 ft in the air before hitting up The Remarkables for some pre-season jibbing on some specially made features to get the Diaries Down Under crew pumped.

  • The Photog

As an action sports photographer, you never know where your photos will end up: in an ad, framed in a gallery, featured in a magazine, or maybe just pasted on your parents fridge with little magnets....but on goggles and a helmet??? Well that's exactly where you can find some of Tal Roberts photos for Smith Optics on three goggle styles. The I/O (pictured), the Fuse, and the Prodigy...And two helmets, the Holt and the Variant. They're called the "Photog" and its Pretty damn cool stuff.

  • Ero What?

    Ero One Films
Everyone loves a good group of riders that put together a dynamic and fun snowboarding film. We're always ready for more of that energy and that's what Ero One Films is doing with their release of "Stick 'Em Up". Ero One is based out of Geneva, Switzerland and is showcasing a handful of Euro riders in this film and I'm stoked to see what they have up their sleeve. Also, Yes Snowboards is a part of this project and that makes me all warm inside. Yes was established by a few riders (oh ya know, DCP, Romain De Marchi and JP Solberg) that used to ride for the big guy, Burton. Needless to say, for one reason or another, they are not riding for that big guy anymore and now own the up and coming limited edition company (As in, there are only three limited collections of 100 boards a year.) It's a passionate and progressive company that happened to just recently sign the likes of Tadashi Fuse. That paired with a group of ripping Euros makes one hell of a snowboard flick. They've had separate releases of each rider's section in the film on Ero One's website (click here) and the full length film is available HERE.

Anyway, this teaser got me pumped up even more for the season so, check it out and let it work its magic on you too.

  • Smith Optics and Hart & Huntington Team up!

Smith Optics, a leader in off-road goggle technology, has teamed up with the Hart & Huntington brand to create a treat for all this fall.

Using the all new Smith Optics Fuel v.2 as their canvas instead of skin, Hart & Huntington debuts their first line of MX specific goggles. This is the perfect blend of attitude and function, integrating Carey Hart's Vegas Tattoo-shop styling with the heritage and premium performance of Smith Optics. Utilizing the all new Ergonomic Outrigger Positioning System, the Fuel v.2 provides unmatched face fit and helmet integration. Exhaustive engineering on the updated frame design optimizes fit and comfort while promoting just the right amount of airflow to keep your vision clear and fog-free. Hart wouldn't have it any other way.

    Ergonomic Outrigger Positioning System
a: Months of rigorous R&D testing resulted in a completely new way of approaching goggle fit and helmet integration. The outrigger design draws the strap forward and away from the goggle frame to distribute pressure evenly against the face and provide a secure, perfect fit in all helmet face ports.

    Updated Frame Design
a: Balancing sculpted lines with exhaustive engineering, the Fuel v.2 allows design to follow function - a priority here at Smith. Frame contours optimize fit and comfort while promoting just the right amount of airflow to keep your vision clear and fog-free.

*Although the frame has received a facelift, the Fuel v.2 utilizes the same lens as all the Fuel goggles.

The Fuel v.2 Hart & Huntington edition goggle will be available in three fresh, new colorways: Red / Silver, Black / Silver and White / Silver, all with a platinum mirrored lens installed and goggle bag that will retail at $80.
These bad boys will be available in November.
