  • Sunday! x Oakley Frogskins sunglasses

Sunday! Bikes and Oakley teamed up to put out this rad collabo pair of shades. Click HERE to check out the glasses and more information about them. Then pick these bad boys up because all the cool guys like Chase Hawk and Aaron Ross will probably be sporting these soon...

  • Sunday! @ Fullerton

All the Sunday riders get down in this edit, but most importantly peep the end clip of Alex Magallan doing a manual line that must have taken him all day/night considering the lighting. Radical.

  • Sunday's Complete Bikes

I keep looking at these things, scratching my head in confusion. I keep running over the numbers and thinking about cost versus profits. I also keep pondering over the gap between stock, complete bikes and custom, part-by-part built bikes being bridged by products like this. The 2011 line of completes by Sunday Bikes is arguably the best line to date and it can be said so by the phrase "bang for your buck".

When you total up the cost of the Odyssey parts these bikes contain you'll see very little difference between that total and the price you'll pay for the entire bike. In short, you're getting whatever you haven't just totaled up (the frame, forks, bars, etc.) for free. There's a lot to consider when buying a complete bike. You may be thinking why don't I just build my own bike with whatever I want by paying a little more or why would you spend so much on a complete bike in general? Fact is, it's a steal!

Let's say you bought a cheap, entry-level bike and now you're looking to upgrade. You may want a custom built bicycle but your parents see how much it costs and aren't going for it. You can pitch this offer to them, getting the best Odyssey parts, paying less but getting more or less what you want. Also, their colorways are on point this year. Chrome on chrome and if you're not baller enough to pull off that combo, you can go for subtle flat black or Aaron Ross inspired fluorescent colors.

The "Pro" completes cost $700 and the "Signature" completes cost $900. Also, look at the benefits of buying Odyssey parts and receiving their all star warranty and customer service. And Sunday isn't ignoring the entry level bikes either; they have "Am" models for $400 and "Ex" models for $500. Those bikes will get you in the door and may be the bike you're upgrading from by buying a Pro or Signature.

They also have the dirt-jumping influenced "Scout" model for $530. The gearing ratio is bumped up for speed, and the frame geometry is bumped down for stability in high speed situations. There are also the 24" models for the men looking for man-sized bikes. An entry level model for $520 and a decked out model for $800.

All the 2011 complete bikes are insane this year, from all your favorite brands, but I'm giving the complete bike of the year award to Sunday for their Gary Young signature bike. Decked out in Odyssey parts, including the best wheels on the market, Ratchet and Vandero hub to Hazard Lite rims, geometry set for the riders at this level, and a chrome on chrome colorway that will get people's attention!

  • Garrett Reeves on Sunday Pro

Kurt Rasmusson recently left Sunday's team to pursue the other maybe greener pastures in life without feeling obligated to ride a 20" bicycle around. I suppose with the new void created Jim Cielencki of Sunday wanted to fill the team up to the brim once more, and added flow/am rider Garrett Reeves to the pro team. He totally deserves it so I'm not surprised or anything.

Garrett is riding for Adam Grandmaison's parts company OSS and had a stellar video part in OSS' full length DVD Football. For an example of said solid riding, view this old Sunday x Lotek web video of Garrett's. Done by Mike Mastroni, another OSS rider and the guy who mostly filmed and entirely edited OSS' Football.

  • Warren Daniel's white on white Sunday/Odyssey bike

White on white? That's so Ross. Warren Daniels is a UK rider flowed by Odyssey. He's riding the incredibly white bicycle from Sibot BMX and puts it through the test at the local skatepark. I couldn't imagine an OCD person (like me) with an all white bike... It's like not wanting to do the first boardslide on a new deck...
