  • Sean Malto On The News...Again

A few months back Sean Malto was on the news in Florida for wrecking the ledges at some new, fancy park in Palm Beach. They pretty much called him a hoodlum. Now, just the other day he was on the news in his hometown of Kanas City being praised, because apparently Sean Malto is "Big Business."

My favorite part beside the fact that the work of the rad Venice Beach artist, Pnut, is displayed behind him, is that they open the piece by saying "The high school dropout..." Did they really have to say that? It's like they had to put him down even though he makes more money than them, or they just wanted to encourage kids to dropout of school.

    Whatever, check it out below:

  • Malto Skates, Detroys And Makes The News

Sean Malto is one of the best young skateboarders in the world. The 20-year-old Kansas City destroyer has been in the lime light for a few years now, and has been jet-setting around the world from skate spot to skate spot filming for videos such as the much anticipated Chocolate Video.

That said, there's this place in Florida called West Palm Beach and they just built a "multi-million dollar waterfront project." It's pretty much a park along the water with benches and ledges everywhere. Translation; a perfect place to skate, or if you will a skate spot.

Now, back to Mr. Malto. If you notice I called him a destroyer in the first paragraph because he, like the famous skate saying states, skates and destroys. Well, Malto and his truck sponsor found out about this new park down Florida and decided to film a web video there. Since Thunder is a truck company they want to showcase in their videos what their product is built to do; grind. Malto showed up to this new "waterfront project" and killed it as usual, and then Thunder posted the video on their site.

Well, apparently the residents of West Palm Beach don't like the fact that their new park is being used to SKATE AND DESTROY, and one of the local broadcast news channels decided to do a piece on the situation, and what video evidence did they use? You guessed it, Sean Malto in Thunder video representing in his KC Chiefs jersey. The best part is when he looks into the camera and says, "You want to make sure you get your grind on."

Check it out for yourself by clicking here. I would of embedded it but there are some issues with the code. We have our tech wizard, Rishi, on the case.
