Villa Villa Cola started out as a skateboard company for lady shredders, but that was 1996. In those times there were very few female skateboarders, so trying to create and sell products to them was futile. Thus our company turned into a collective of artists, filmmakers, skateboarders, and photographers that worked together to produce videos and zines that would encourage more girls to skate. All of our efforts culminated, eight years after we had started, in the making of Getting Nowhere Faster our latest release that documents the explosive progress of female skaters.

Many of us involved in the early days of VVC, also had a passion for surfing. So we turned our attention toward the ocean to create something meaningful for the surfing community. That creation is Dear & Yonder and it is a Villa Villa Cola Production.
