Sturla Fagerhaug was once again the man to beat at round four of the 2009 Red Bull Rookies Cup, held this time at the famous Circuit van Drenthe at Assen. After having made an almost perfect start, the kid from Norway showed off his ability to race intelligently. Like the last time out at Mugello, a massive group of eight riders fought in the early stages of the race for the lead. Fagerhaug battled it out with French man Florian Marino, who finally saw the flag in fourth position. The ' Viking' was able to open a gap up of up to 2.5 seconds and crossed the line in first for the third time this year. Meanwhile, the battle for second heated up dramatically when Danny Kent from Great Britain crashed out of the race with three laps to go. Daijio Hiura of Japan came home in second place ahead of the American Jacob Gagne who couldn' (TM)t hide a big smile after his first rostrum finish.Check out all the race and series details @http://redbullrookiescup.com
