Remember that photo two posts ago? This is it, buried under water… A powerful day paddling to the Cathedral in the Desert – a favorite stop for all Glen Canyon explorers before the dam. Now primarily submerged, it's gradual reveal tells the story of Lake Powell, its inability to be an effective water source, and the beauty which it destroyed in its creation. I hope someday to return to this place and see it in all its glory. @canoekayakmag #adventurealways #fillmeadfirst #glencanyon #iphone #funisthebest
