These 5 adventure women are living the dream and taking us along on Instagram

All of these women are following their passion, from spearfishing to seeing the world via Sprinter van.

Individually, their accomplishments are impressive but they all share a zest for life that’s landed them on this list.

Professional skier Tatum Monod charges hard and looks amazing doing it.

The native Canadian comes from a long line of skiers and worked at her parents’ ski shop in Banff, Alberta. Now she is racking up accolades left and right for her abilities on the slopes.

Johnnie Gall lives in a van down by the river (or down by the mountains … or wherever the wind blows her). She is a writer (for GrindTV no less), standup paddler, runner and all-around badass.

She was one of the original adventure women and inspires others to get outside.

Cyclist, yogi and all-around thrill seeker, Pat Bailey can’t be pigeonholed into one category.

She practices yoga in her bike spandex and presents a pretty strong case for mastering your breath to help your stamina.

Valentine Thomas’ nickname is appropriately the “Spearfishing Huntress.”

Thomas has a passion for diving and catching her own food, which she calls the ultimate in sustainable eating. She’s really great at what she does.

Lauren Hill is a surfer, storyteller and Instagram artist, if there were such a thing.

She travels the world to raise awareness for ocean activism. She’s way more than just a pretty face. Her ideas on gender inequality in the surf industry are definitely worth a read.
