Can’t find the perfect adventure van on Craigslist? Just dig up those old cartons of LEGO bricks and make one yourself.

This October, a life-size touring caravan made entirely out of LEGO bricks will be unveiled at the Motorhome & Caravan Show in Birmingham, England.

But this isn’t just kids’ play: the van requires more than 150,000 interlocking plastic bricks and features a fully-functioning interior, complete with working electric lights, a sink, simulated cooking equipment, a bed and seating.

A team of eight professional LEGO brick builders (no, we didn’t make that up) will need more than 1,000 man hours to build the caravan, which is based on a modern teardrop-style camper.

Their goal? Set the Guinness World Record for the largest ever touring caravan made of LEGO bricks.

The project is set to be unveiled at the convention center just ahead of BRICK 2015 — Built for LEGO Fans, a LEGO-themed show opening at the end of October featuring live building and vintage play sets.
