The chaos that is a Volcom movie is unique. It's not planned or prepared and definitely can't be written. It's not about asking permission to skate a backyard pool, either. In this second trailer (aptly titled “It's Not You, It's We”) for Volcom's upcoming movie “True To This,” team riders from multiple board sports including Geoff Rowley, Dustin Dollin, Terje Haakonsen, and Gavin Beschen share the secret to what makes a Volcom movie. "I feel everyone's connected and engulfed in the elements, passion, and love," says surfer Gavin Beschen, who’s also known as “the Alien.” "There's definitely an interconnected twine between all of us.”

Allow me to translate. What Gavin means is that, despite the team riding different boards (surf, snow, skate), they are all on the same page when creating and documenting their respective sports. So whether they're sucking water out of an abandoned pool, waiting for snow to fall, or chasing a swell across the Pacific, the ingredients for a Volcom movie are all the same—get the guys to their spot and let them raise hell. Works every time!
