Sports:BMX, Skateboarding | 2010 Toyota Challenge ResultsThe results are in and Dennis Enarson is on top of the world. Enarson won the dirt event AND the park event, something not done by anyone in any sport/event since 2006. Dennis Enarson has let his talents from each discipline influence each other and brought it all to the table. Here are the full results and photos from allisports.com: PARK: 1. Dennis Enarson 2. Garrett Reynolds 3. Daniel Dhers 4. Scotty Cranmer 5. Brian Hunt Daniel Dhers came out firing trick after trick in his usual fashion. 360 combos, 720 combos, flair combos, all with his signature style, but he slipped a pedal a few times and lost some momentum in the style category. Dennis Enarson wouldn't have that issue, however, in one of his stellar final runs. He boosted transfers nobody even thought of, got tricks on everything, and earned the win with the judges. Nike 6.0 teammate Garrett Reynolds came in close second behind Dennis by squeezing in as many tricks into every second of the minute he's given. Flairs, spins, whips, bars;so much in one run. He's definitely looking to take back the tour cup lead from Dhers. ![]() DIRT: 1. Dennis Enarson 2. Brandon Dosch 3. Brett Banasiewicz 4. TJ Ellis 5.Corey Bohan Dirt was a battle of the elements. The wind was literally blowing riders every direction and when you have to flow four sets of huge dirt jumps things don't go as planned. Brett Banasiewicz was able to land cash rolls even in the harsh wind but he looked a little unsettled by the wind in the air. Dennis Enarson, however, was not worried about the wind it appeared. He was throwing his best tricks with style and landed himself a dirt win. Brandon Dosch also overcame the wind and put on solid runs to get second place. ![]() VERT: 1. Jamie Bestwick 2. Chad Kagy 3. Coco Zurita 4. Simon Tabron 5. Steve McCann Coco Zurita seemed like he wanted to air his way to the win, boosting higher and with more style than any other rider on the ramp. Jamie Bestwick, however, has nearly that height whilst doing all of his tricks. Jamie also had one of the best runs of his career that sent the crowd into a frenzy. Chad Kagy had stellar runs that included double tailwhip flairs, but slipped up in those runs. Had he not, he definitely could have dethroned the king, Mr. Bestwick. ![]() Channels: Bike Ortiz Wins Toyota ChallengeGRINDTV Newswire via Allied - Stage is Set for Winner-Take-All at Dew Tour Championships in Vegas Between Greg Lutzka, Chaz Ortiz, Ryan Sheckler and Paul Rodriguez. ![]() Salt Lake City, Utah - Saturday, September 18, 2010 - Chicago's Chaz Ortiz, 16, won the skate park final at the Dew Tour's Toyota Challenge, marking his second win in Salt Lake City over the last three years. This is the second to last event, second to the final stop in Las Vegas, which will take place in mid October and after that dust settles, we can name tour champions! Here are the current top 5s within the Dew Tour standings: ![]() PARK 1. Daniel Dhers (190) 2. Mike Spinner (164) 3. Mark Webb (148) 4. Garrett Reynolds (142) 5. Andy Buckworth (134) VERT 1. Jamie Bestwick (200) 2. Steve McCann (164) 3. Simon Tabron (162) 4. Chad Kagy (158) 5. Jimmy Walker (140) DIRT 1. Brett Banasiewicz (200) 2. Brandon Dosch (162) 3. Luke Parslow (158) 4. Ryan Nyquist (150) 5. Dennis Enarson (130) Once again, the vert discipline seems like a battle for second place as Jamie Bestwick runs away with wins and may sweep this year AGAIN. Wow. Surprisingly, though, the dirt discipline also seems to be a battle for second place as notorious park jock Brett Banasiewicz owns the entire board, 2 wins in a row. He isn't even in the top 5 of the park discipline, which is known to be his specialty. If Jamie and Brett keep it up, the 2-5 guys will be battling in these last 2 events as they are so close in scores. 2nd place is about 50 points away from Jamie and Brett, but places are only 2-10 points away in the 2-5 section. This will be exciting! And park is mostly dominated by Daniel Dhers but with a big effort Mike Spinner and the guys could take him out. Daniel has, however, displayed a sort of dominance reminiscent of Mr. Bestwick and Banana Sandwich. He's quite far ahead but the spread is still there.
