The Dew Tour, the world's premier season-long action sports tour, begins the first event of the season on Friday, June 26 in Grant Park, adjacent to the Taste of Chicago. The Dew Tour comes to Chicago for the first time in its five-year history for the Nike 6.0 BMX Open, a BMX park, dirt and vert event. The five-city tour also includes stops in Boston, Portland, Ore., Salt Lake City and Orlando.



The athlete roster includes the who's who in the BMX world, highlighted by four-time Dew Cup champion Jamie Bestwick, BMX park legend Dave Mirra and superstars Daniel Dhers and Nike 6.0 athletes Dennis Enarson and Mike Spinner. In addition to the park, vert and dirt disciplines, the Nike 6.0 BMX Open will also feature a street specialty competition with Garrett Reynolds, Van Homan and Sean Sexton adding to the impressive roster of athletes.
