The 2008-09 Snowboarding World Cup is a multi race tournament over a season for snowboarding. The season began on September 6, 2008, and finishes on March 22, 2009. The World Cup is organized by the FIS who also runs world cups and championships in cross-country skiing, ski jumping, nordic combined, alpine skiing and freestyle skiing.
The LG FIS Snowboard World Cup 2009 will be in the discipline of halpipe and will be held on January 14th and 15th, 2009 in Gujo-Gifu Japan.
