Here are the first leaks of light from the new web-series, The Isle, featuring Matt Meola and Albee Layer.
Set on the North Shore of Maui, the duo spends their days charging the outer reefs near Hookipa when it's big or inventing new aerial variations when it's small. Both were standouts during January's historic tow-session at Jaws, and both have a couple of new flip variations in their bag of tricks.
Rockstar Energy Drinks just picked up the pair and started production on this little series. Keep an eye out for more to come...

An interview with the man behind the lens
At 24, Jeremy Rumas quit his full-time job in Chicago to make a surf movie. "Thinking back over the previous few years was sort of a blur of sitting at desks," says Rumas of his time working in an office as a commercial artist. "I felt like I better make a move quick if I was to try to do something of my own."
