Behold the redesign of a modern classic. The iconic Airstream trailer has been a part of American adventure on the open road since 1929. The newest design, the Basecamp, is slimmed down from its original 2007 version and set for any adventure you can imagine. And we have completely fallen in love with it.

Taking the same sound design principles, Airstream has created their lightest trailer. Towable by an SUV, it seats five and sleeps two. It includes a bathroom and shower, with water hook-ups usable from outside the trailer as well. The aluminum body also features a panoramic, wrap-up around.

With a length of 16 feet 9 inches and a width of 7 feet, it’s compact yet offers plenty of room. The Basecamp trailer also houses features like solar pre-wire kit, air condition and heating systems, a kitchen and so much more. Starting at $34,900, it’s a bit steep but when you consider you’ll have this a lifetime, that seems well worth it.
